Textile dyeing with clay and indigo 💙 with designer Lena Huber
Join us and create your own one-of-a-kind textiles:
Sunday, October 12th from 14-17
A traditional textile dyeing technique where patterns are created by applying a clay paste to fabric before it is dyed in a natural indigo vat. The areas covered with clay remain light and undyed, creating beautiful contrast and intricate designs. Different techniques can be used to create patterns.
Indigo is a natural blue dye extracted from the leaves of the indigo plant. It has been used for centuries to color textiles and produces rich, vibrant shades of blue.
