Make your own ceramic objects out of stoneware clay on a Wednesday night

2×2 h = 2 h handbuilding + 2 h glazing 
or 1×3 h = 3 h handbuilding and we glaze for you

STEPS

In a small group of 4–6 we experiment with different shapes and techniques, from pinching, coiling to slab building. Free forms can be tried out here. Open to anyone, regardless of previous knowledge or skills, even though a little bit of clay experience can definitely be useful here. 

After drying for several days and being fired once they can be final glazed in various colours 2 weeks later.

All materials, tools, firings are included.

Workshops are held in German and/or English, depending on the group.

The pieces need to dry for 7–10 days, before they can go into the kiln to be fired for the first time. Then you can glaze your objects, followed by a glaze firing at 1240°C, a slow cool down, until you can finally hold them in your hands.
